When your loved one isn’t ready to leave his or her home and move into a nursing or personal care facility, or if you or your family member is recuperating from an illness or surgery and needs assistance at home, Colquitt Regional Private Duty Services is your answer.
WE OFFER THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:
Personal Care Services. Our trained and experienced staff provides one-on-one assistance with the client’s activities of daily living (ADLs). We are available two or more hours per day, seven days a week. This service enables individuals who live alone to have the assistance they need. We can assist with:
- Personal Care
- Light Housekeeping
- Medical Preparation
- Transportation
- Errands
Home Companionship. This service is designed for patients who need companionship or homemaking assistance to remain in their own home. Short-term or long-term arrangements are available. For clients who live alone or whose companions are unable to assist at home, this service is designed to fill this need. While in your home our capable staff can assist with all activities of daily living. Most importantly, we are there to be with the client. We provide conversation and companionship for those who need daily interaction with others in order to stay active. In addition, having a companion in the home provides for the client’s safety.
Community Care Services Program (CCSP). Colquitt Regional Private Duty Services is a CCSP provider of this Medicaid waivered program. Qualified participants may be eligible to receive skilled nursing care, personal care/housekeeping services, respite service, and/or the emergency response system in the home. Emergency Response System (ERS) Our in-home monitoring device, designed for those who live alone and give them the security to continue living independently at home. Anytime, day or night, when you need help, simply press the personal “help” button. By pressing the button, the in-home telephone unit is activated and automatically dials directly into Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Our supervisors respond to the alarm and send assistance.
Coverage for care Colquitt Regional Private Duty Services accepts private pay, private insurance, long-term care insurance, worker’s compensation and VA. We are able to verify insurance benefits and coverage free of charge. With all the payer sources accepted, arrangements for private duty care are easy as well as convenient.
