Steady Rise in Flu Cases at Colquitt Regional

MOULTRIE, Ga. – As the flu continues to spread throughout the U.S., Colquitt Regional has seen a consistent increase in confirmed flu cases in the past weeks. In just the first three weeks of December, the Emergency Department treated 178 patients who tested positive for the flu, compared to 138 cases for the whole month of November. Colquitt Regional Sees Early Rise in Flu Cases

MOULTRIE, Ga. – In the past two weeks, Colquitt Regional Medical Center has seen a steady increase in patients testing positive for the flu. In the last week of September, the Emergency Department treated 19 confirmed cases of the flu, more than doubling the number of positive flu tests the week prior. MOULTRIE, GA – After a seemingly mild 2018-2019 flu season, Colquitt Regional has seen a recent influx of flu cases. In the first week of March, the Emergency Department treated 66 confirmed cases of the flu.
