Visitation Policy

The COVID-19 Pandemic is constantly evolving. This page reflects the latest Visitation Policy for Colquitt Regional. We understand the frustration and concern that many may experience when not being able to visit a loved one in the hospital. Please understand that these guidelines are necessary to protect our patients, our visitors and our employees. There are exceptions to these policies for end-of-life patients. Please check this page prior to visiting any hospital patient as these requirements are subject to change.

Please see the below updated visitor policy effective 3/3/2021.

  • Visitation Hours are daily: 9:00 am – 9:00 pm.
    (See visitation COVID visitation policy for patients in COVID zones.)
  • Masks are required to be worn at all times.
  • Visitors with respiratory illnesses, and signs of communicable infections and/or exposure should be requested NOT to visit.
  • Children under the age of 12, unless entering for medical care, should NOT be allowed to visit. (At times during the year, there may be no one under the age of 18 permitted.)
  • No flowers/Balloons allowed in ICU.
  • Visitors seeking access to inpatient areas must check in/out at the Visitors Lobby Entrance (west side entrance) to obtain a Visitors Pass.
  • Accommodations will be made for designated care providers with support needs.

Emergency Department

  • Non-COVID symptom patients may have a support person with them at all times.
  • If a minor, the patient will be allowed both parents, a combination of parent/grandparent or an adult sibling. (This is subject to change at any time based on patient volume.)

Outpatient Services (Radiology, Cardiology, Lab, etc)

  • Patient coming in for outpatient services may be accompanied by up to two (2) visitors.

Same Day Surgery

  • Patient may be accompanied by up to two (2) visitors.
  • If a minor, the patient will be allowed both parents, a combination of parent/grandparent or an adult sibling.

Obstetrics

  • Only 1 support person and up to two (2) visitors at one time will be allowed.
  • No visitation during 2pm – 4pm snuggle and snooze time with the exception of the 1 support person.
  • Siblings may visit if accompanied by an adult. (Siblings with infections should not be allowed to visit.)

NON-COVID Patient Floors / NON-COVID Intensive Care Unit

  • Patient may have 1 support person to stay with them at all times and up to two (2) visitors per patient at a time during visitation hours.
  • Accommodations will be made for designated care providers with support needs.

COVID ZONES: ER Locations, Patient Floor & Intensive Care Unit

  • No visitation allowed at this time without Director’s approval.
  • Extended stay visitation hours: Mon. 1:00pm – 3:00pm; Thurs. 3:00pm – 5:00pm
