Colquitt Regional is currently offering testing for COVID-19 at Sterling Group Outpatient Laboratory, but a doctor’s order is required. Read below to learn more.

The Colquitt Regional COVID-19 testing site is located in Hospital Park in front of the Sterling Group Outpatient Laboratory (5 Hospital Park).

Patients should continue to wait in their cars when they arrive in the parking lot. There will be signs designating COVID-19 Testing Parking and the phone number to call will be posted on those signs.

Individuals may arrive for testing Monday – Thursday from 7:30 am – 5:00 pm and Friday from 7:30 am – 3:00 pm. A doctor’s order is required for testing.

If you are sick and needing to be tested, please contact your primary care physician. If you do not have a doctor, call the COVID-19 Hotline, 229-891-9380, and we will assist you in finding one. Our providers are able to conduct virtual visits as well. Please do not come to the ER for a COVID test unless you need emergency medical assistance.

**It is recommended that only individuals who are experiencing COVID symptoms get tested. Testing only because of exposure may result in a false negative. We have patients who test without symptoms, receive a negative result, then begin experiencing symptoms the next day and are positive. The best use of resources is to wait until you have symptoms to get tested.**

If you are awaiting test results or have been closely exposed to a COVID+ individual, please stay home or distance yourself from others until you know you are negative.
