The Colquitt Regional Inpatient Pharmacy works behind the scenes to prepare and distribute all medications prescribed by your physician during your hospital stay.

- 24/7 pharmacist availability – a licensed pharmacist is on duty or on-call at all times.
- Unit dose distribution – medications are delivered in the exact dose you need, using a computerized pharmacy management system to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Secure medication access – commonly used medications are stored in Pyxis medication stations located in each patient care area for fast, safe delivery.
- IV admixture preparation – including total parenteral nutrition (TPN) and cancer chemotherapy solutions.
- Home IV therapy – for patients receiving intravenous medications through Colquitt Regional’s Home Health Services.
- Medication education – pharmacists are available to answer questions about drug therapy during normal business hours.
The Sterling Group Pharmacy is a retail pharmacy owned and operated by Colquitt Regional Health System, providing convenient prescription services to hospital employees, patients and the community.
