Sterling Physician Group recently announced the addition of Dr. Josette McMichael to the medical staff at Sterling Group Dermatology.
McMichael attended the University of Maryland where she received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry, followed by earning her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia.
She then went on to complete a residency in family medicine at UVA School of Medicine and a residency in dermatology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta.

McMichael is board certified in dermatology and brings over 26 years of experience to Sterling Group Dermatology.
In addition to serving in a hospital and clinical setting, McMichael has years of experience in providing dermatological services both domestically and abroad. Throughout her career she has volunteered her time and expertise throughout parts of Africa, Afghanistan, India, South America, and Mexico.
McMichael has also worked as an adjunct assistant professor of dermatology at Emory University since 2013 and serves as the medical director of DermAlive, a non-profit organization with the purpose of relieving human suffering caused by skin disorders in underserved communities.

McMichael specializes in the full spectrum of dermatological care involving skin, hair and nail disorders. In addition to medical services, Sterling Group Dermatology offers cosmetic treatments as well including Hydrafacial, Botox, spa peels, body treatments, and more.
McMichael recently moved to Moultrie with her husband Todd and began seeing patients in October.
