Pardon Our Progress
Construction is underway for the new Hufstetler Tower, a transformational expansion that will help Colquitt Regional Health System meet the growing healthcare needs of our community and region.
As construction progresses, patients, visitors, employees and others coming to the Colquitt Regional campus will experience temporary changes to parking, entrances, traffic patterns and pedestrian access.
Construction will take place in multiple phases over approximately two years. Parking and access routes may change throughout the project, and we will provide updates as new phases begin.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to build for the future.
Important Campus Access Changes
Beginning Monday, August 24
The Main/Emergency Department entrance on 31st Avenue will be the only hospital entrance for:
- Patients
- Visitors
- Employees
- Vendors
- Patient discharges
All patients and visitors should use the Main Entrance on 31st Avenue when arriving at the hospital.
The entrance off South Main Street at 32nd Avenue will remain available for:
- Colquitt Regional employees
- Individuals accessing Sterling Medical Park
Please note: The 32nd Avenue entrance will not provide access to the hospital’s Visitor Lobby or Cafeteria.
Patients and visitors needing to access the hospital should use the Main Entrance on 31st Avenue.
As construction areas are established, some existing parking areas will be impacted and parking locations will shift.
Please follow all posted parking signs and directional instructions when arriving on campus.
Because construction will occur in multiple phases, parking areas and traffic patterns may change as the project progresses. Updated maps and information will be provided as significant changes occur.
Temporary pedestrian walkways and directional signage will be established to help patients, visitors and employees safely navigate the campus.
For your safety, please use designated walkways and follow all posted signs and directions.
We encourage patients and visitors to:
- Allow additional time when arriving for appointments or visiting loved ones.
- Follow all posted parking and directional signage.
- Use the Main Entrance on 31st Avenue when visiting the hospital.
- Check in at the hospital’s Main Entrance upon arrival.
- Follow designated pedestrian walkways when moving around the campus.
Visitor Guidelines
To help maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients, visitors are limited to two visitors per patient at a time.
Children under the age of 12 should not visit unless there are extenuating circumstances.
The Hufstetler Tower represents a significant investment in the future of healthcare for Colquitt Regional and the communities we serve.
While construction will bring temporary changes and inconveniences to the hospital campus, these changes are an important part of creating a modern healthcare environment designed to serve our community for generations to come.
We appreciate your patience as we build for the future.
