You’re not alone.
When feelings of stress, worry or sadness persist and interfere with your daily life, it may be a sign of anxiety or depression. Our psychiatric services are devoted to the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of mental health disorders, including mood swings, anxiety, depression, general behavior, cognition, perception, personality disorder and more. An individualized treatment plan gives you the best chance of recovery and a restored life.
To ensure you receive the compassionate and integrated whole-person care you need, we offer a network of resources and services, both within our system of care and among community-based initiatives. Your care may start with your primary care physician and include referral to one of our specialized clinicians. Talk to your primary care physician to explore therapy and treatment options.

With a focus on personal challenges and growth, individual therapy will be blended with family therapy, which is focused on family dynamics and communication.
Our inpatient Senior Wellness Unit is designed specifically for seniors facing difficult aging issues. The 10-bed facility at Colquitt Regional combines a safe inpatient environment with structured and supportive therapies and medical services.
Group therapy brings together people with similar challenges to share and learn from each other. Led by a therapist, it can help with coping and social skills, dealing with loss and addressing other stresses.
In collaboration with you and your physician(s), we will recommend, prescribe, monitor and adjust medications to ensure the most appropriate medication and dosage for your specific needs in order to alleviate symptoms while minimizing side effects.
Your plan of care may include community-based resources and support, medication management, and recommendations for support systems. Therapy, support groups and medication management are essential to your continued recovery, stability and success.
In addition to the services we offer, we can connect families and caregivers to community-based resources in order to find self-care support, respite care, support group activities and therapies to help ease stress and improve quality of life.
