Conditions and Services

Conditions

Our team provides care for a full range of spinal conditions, including:

  • Herniated or slipped discs
  • Spinal stenosis (narrowing of the spinal canal)
  • Degenerative disc disease
  • Osteoarthritis of the spine
  • Spinal deformities (scoliosis, kyphosis)
  • Spinal fractures and trauma
  • Spinal instability, spondylolysis or spondylolisthesis
  • Spinal tumors or infections
  • Sciatica and nerve compression
  • Chronic low back or neck pain

Services

Aging, arthritis, or injury can lead to the gradual breakdown of spinal structures. We provide both surgical and non-surgical solutions to treat:

  • Bulging or herniated discs
  • Spinal stenosis
  • Degenerative scoliosis
  • Osteoarthritis-related back pain

MISS uses small incisions and specialized instruments to reduce trauma to muscles and surrounding tissues. Benefits may include less pain, shorter hospital stays and quicker recovery. Common procedures include:

  • Discectomy
  • Laminectomy
  • Spinal fusion
  • Tumor or infection removal

Patients with severe spinal misalignment, tumors or trauma may need more extensive surgery. Dr. Andrew Cordista and our surgical team specialize in complex procedures designed to restore spinal alignment and protect nerve function.

For patients with chronic low back pain unresponsive to other treatments, artificial disc replacement offers an alternative to spinal fusion. This procedure preserves motion in the spine and may reduce long-term stress on surrounding discs.

Through our partnership with the Vereen Rehabilitation Center, patients benefit from a full continuum of care, including physical therapy, pain management and post-surgical rehabilitation to maximize strength and mobility.
