Hayley Thompson, M.Ed., CCC-SLP, is a Speech-Language pathologist at Colquitt Regional Health System in Moultrie, GA.
She graduated in 2002 from Valdosta State University with a master’s degree in Communication and Science Disorders. She began her career at Regional Therapy Services in her hometown of Moultrie, Georgia. In 2004, her military family was moved to Missouri in where she worked for Supplemental Health Care in a variety of clinical settings, treating both adults and pediatrics with speech, language and swallowing disorders.
In 2008, the military moved her family back to Moultrie, Georgia in where she returned to Regional Therapy Services. In 2012, she excitedly joined Colquitt Regional Health System’s Speech Pathology team. However, the military moved her family again in 2014 to Jacksonville, North Carolina. While living in North Carolina, she worked at the Naval Hospital at Camp Lejeune in the Educational and Developmental Intervention Services Department in where she served children from birth to 3 years of age with speech and language disorders in their homes.
In 2017, Hayley and her family moved back to Moultrie and she rejoined the Colquitt Regional Health System’s Speech Pathology team. She serves both the pediatric and adult populations in the areas of speech, language and swallowing disorders in the acute care, outpatient, and daycare settings. Hayley’s primary interest is in serving the pediatric population with speech and language disorders.
Hayley holds a national certification for clinical competence by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and is licensed by the professional licensure board for the state of Georgia.
