From initial evaluations to determining your best treatment option and supporting you after surgery, together we can transform your health and change your life. Phase 1: Meet with our Intake Coordinator
This is the first step in your weight-loss journey. A free and confidential 30-minute consultation with our Bariatric Intake Coordinator begins the design of your personalized program. We will outline everything for you and discuss setting goals, expectations, needs and limitations.
Phase 2: Your Road to Weight Loss
After the initial consultation, you will learn about all the components and steps that comprise your weight-loss journey. You will meet with our expert team members to focus on nutrition, undergo a psychological evaluation and begin to prepare your body for your weight-loss procedure.
Phase 3: Preparing for Surgery
Your pre-op visit will include a meeting with your surgeon and discuss the surgical process. There will also be time for reviewing insurance requirements for package submission, informed consent, final dietary preparations for your surgery and an opportunity for any questions you may have.
Phase 5: A Brand New You
Seven to 10 days after you go home, you will return for a follow-up visit with the Sterling Center Bariatrics team. This visit will precede a year of follow-up appointments to help keep you on track for success. You will also gain access to our support group on Facebook, the Weight Warriors.
