In case of an emergency, count on Colquitt Regional.

When you experience a medical emergency, you can find immediate attention from the skilled physicians, nurses and other clinicians at Colquitt Regional’s Emergency Department. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, our newly renovated facility offers 24 private treatment rooms equipped with advanced cardiac monitoring systems and bedside computers for staff documentation.

An emergency medicine physician is present around the clock and is supported by a team of advanced practice providers, including physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Our clinical staff also includes highly trained nurses and medical assistants, all of whom are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), with many also certified in trauma nursing. Colquitt Regional partners closely with Colquitt County Emergency Medical Services to ensure the emergency healthcare needs of the community are met with coordination and efficiency.

Upon arrival, you will be assessed by a care provider to determine the type and severity of your medical issue. Some patients may be treated before you and/or others who are waiting to facilitate emergent, often life-saving care for serious conditions such as heart attacks, strokes or traumatic injuries. We strive to move all patients to treatment rooms as quickly as possible.
