MOULTRIE, Ga. – Williams specializes in Urogynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. He has been a physician at Colquitt Regional since 2013, where he has provided advanced surgical and medical care to women across the region.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Arkansas Tech University and a master’s degree in nursing from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. He went on to complete his Doctor of Medicine degree at Ross University School of Medicine, followed by a residency at Tri-Health Good Samaritan and Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. He then pursued a fellowship in Urogynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery at Wayne State School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan.
In 2016, Williams joined the Air Force, where he still serves today in active reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel and Flight Surgeon in the 116th Medical Group out of Robins Air Force Base.
In addition to his clinical practice, Williams has served in key leadership roles at Colquitt Regional, including Chief of Staff and Chief of Surgery. He has been instrumental in advancing women’s health services and mentoring the next generation of physicians through Colquitt Regional’s residency and teaching partnerships.

Williams is married to Betty Koukis, MD, another local physician, and they are the proud parents of three children.

Williams was appointed to succeed Howard Melton, MD, FACS, FASMBS, who completed his 18-year term on the Hospital Authority in September. Other members of the Authority include Maureen A. Yearta, Ed.D., Richard Bass, Richard E. Turner, Jr., Johnny Brown, John Griffin, Justin Baker, MD, Joe Baker, and John W. Mitchell, III.
