Your Gift, Your Credit
The Georgia HEART Hospital Program is a unique opportunity for state residents to support Georgia’s rural hospitals and earn an equal 100% Georgia income tax credit, up to specified limits. In addition, for businesses, favorable state and federal tax laws and regulations allow corporations, trusts and pass-through businesses to achieve a state tax credit, a federal tax deduction, and a sustaining philanthropic impact on Georgia communities.
FAQs
Since 2018, Colquitt Regional has received over $9.5 million in tax credit donations. These funds have enhanced care for patients with cancer and cancer-related illnesses, including the construction of the Edwards Cancer Center, our state-of-the-art radiation oncology unit and medical equipment such as the Versa HD radiation treatment system. Funds have also supported uncompensated care for those unable to pay for treatments, prescriptions, chemotherapy or supplies. In addition, our extensive facility infrastructure improvement project, including roofing, plumbing and electrical, was completed in 2021 with funding via Georgia HEART.
Through Georgia HEART, individuals and businesses can Help Enhance Access to Rural Treatment for thousands of Georgians and for our local community. Learn more about Georgia HEART here or contact Gina McDonald, Foundation Program Manager, at (229) 890-3416 or use the contact form below.
