Educating Our Future Workforce

Scholarships and grants offer valuable opportunities for students pursuing degrees in healthcare who may face financial challenges. This financial support enables them to successfully earn and complete their education. With your donation, Foundation funds benefit numerous students and will help to ensure quality healthcare for future generations. The application deadline for students is the first Friday in March.

Colquitt Regional Trustee Scholarship (Healthcare Studies)

$5,000 scholarship to any STUDENT who has completed their CORE studies AND who is currently enrolled or has been accepted into a healthcare-related program.

Colquitt Regional Trustee Scholarship – PCOM South Georgia

$5,000 will be awarded to a South Georgia student who has completed a minimum education of a bachelor’s degree AND has been accepted or currently enrolled at Philadelphia College of Medicine, South Georgia Campus.

Foundation Employee Scholarships

Annually, Colquitt Regional Medical Foundation awards up to three $5,000 scholarships to employees of Colquitt Regional or its affiliate clinics pursuing to advance their career in the healthcare field. Applicants must have an acceptance letter into a healthcare-related field of study.

Teacher Partnership Grant

Because math and science are essential for any student interested in pursuing a career in healthcare, Colquitt Regional wants to partner with local teachers to enhance student learning in these areas. All schools in Colquitt County are welcome to apply. We are offering awards:

  • Up to a $2,500 stipend for Math and/or Science TEACHERS in grades 8th – 12th for the purpose of unbudgeted professional development opportunities and/or student learning projects.
  • Up to $1,000 stipend for Teachers K – 7th grades with a STEM program.

Foundation Nursing & Allied Healthcare Scholarship: The Doris Spry and Laverne Nash Scholarship

$5,000 scholarship to assist a Colquitt County native student enrolled in or accepted into, a nursing or an allied healthcare program.

Colquitt Regional Employee Committee Scholarship

Scholarships to assist a HIGH SCHOOL graduating SENIOR who is currently employed at Colquitt Regional OR who is a dependent child of a current employee of Colquitt Regional.

Rev. J.E. Moak Memorial Scholarship given by Volunteer Services

Up to two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to a HIGH SCHOOL graduating SENIOR of Colquitt County pursuing education in the medical field.
