At Colquitt Regional, we recognize that visitors play an important role in the healing process. That’s why we’re committed to creating a safe, supportive and welcoming environment for patients, guests and staff alike. While patient care remains our top priority, we strive to ensure that loved ones feel comfortable and informed during their visit. Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about our current visitation guidelines, including how and when to visit a patient and how to get in touch with us directly.

Daily: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Visitation outside of these hours may be allowed with approval from the nursing staff, depending on the patient’s condition.

  • Visitors with respiratory illnesses and signs of contagious infection and/or COVID exposure should not visit.
  • Children under the age of 12 are not allowed to visit patient rooms, except for sibling visitation on the obstetrical unit and any other unique circumstances. (The age requirement may be subject to change based on peak flu/covid times)
  • Need for Interpreters, a Chaplain or a notary public can also be contacted through the visitor’s information desk.
  • Colquitt Regional is a tobacco-free campus. Smoking and tobacco products are strictly prohibited anywhere on our grounds.

  • Due to the current community transmission level, masking in patient care areas is optional. This is subject to change based on fluctuations in the community transmission level.
    • Mask should be worn in patient care areas when: An employee desires to wear a mask or has not received the flu vaccine, a patient requests staff to wear a mask and a patient is on droplet or airborne precautions.
    • Masks are still required to be worn when caring for patients testing positive for influenza, COVID-19 or RSV. If a child or infant tests positive for RSV, contact precautions should be implemented in addition to droplet precautions.
  • Visitors seeking access to inpatient areas must CHECK In/Out at the Visitors Lobby Entrance (west side entrance) to obtain a VISITOR PASS.
  • Visitors with respiratory illnesses, and signs of communicable infections and/or COVID exposure should NOT visit or will be required to wear a mask.
  • Children under the age of 12, unless entering for medical care, may NOT be allowed to visit.
  • No plants/flowers/balloons allowed in ICU.
  • Emergency Department
    • Non-COVID symptom patients may be accompanied by up to one visitor.
    • If a minor, the patient will be allowed both parents or combination of parent/grandparent or an adult sibling.
    • ED visitation is subject to change at any time based on patient volume.
    • Accommodations will be made for designated care providers with support needs.
  • Outpatient Services (Radiology, Cardiology, Lab, etc)
    • Patient coming in for outpatient services may be accompanied by one visitor.
    • Accommodations will be made for designated care providers with support needs.
  • Same Day Surgery
    • Patient may be accompanied by up to 2 visitors.
    • If a minor, the patient will be allowed both parents or combination of parent/grandparent or an adult sibling.
    • Accommodations will be made for designated care providers with support needs.
  • Obstetrics
    • Mom may have 1 support person plus up to 2 visitors during labor/delivery, then 2 visitors plus the support person at a time will be allowed during post-partum.
    • Siblings may visit if accompanied by an adult. (Siblings with infections should NOT visit)
    • Accommodations will be made for designated care providers with support needs.
  • All Patient Floors and Intensive Care Unit
    • Patients may only have up to 2 visitors at a time to visit during visitation hours of 9:00 am – 9:00 pm daily. ICU and PCU have no visitation between 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm.
    • Accommodations will be made for designated care providers.
    • Visitors accessing isolation rooms must first see the nurse’s station before entering the room for the proper personal protective equipment.

Colquitt Regional extends our commitment to personalized healthcare by meeting the unique cultural needs of our patients. We provide free interpreter services to patients to ensure that information is accurately transmitted between limited English proficient patients; deaf or hard-of-hearing patients and their healthcare team.

If you would like to have a medical interpreter throughout your appointment, we ask that you request this service while scheduling your appointment or let our staff know at any time. Our services include on-site, telephone and video interpreters.
