The inspiration for this project came from the community in which we live. Colquitt County is overflowing with unusual beauty, often overlooked. We wanted to capture it all in photographs and preserve them like a time capsule. These photographs, taken by local artist Carrie Viohl, will be a permanent collection displayed in a gallery within the hospital for patients and visitors to enjoy.
Individual pieces of this collection are available for sponsorship with a $500 charitable donation. Donors will receive as part of their contribution a commemorative replica keepsake of the portrait and a naming plaque signifying that it was given in honor or in memory of a loved one. It will be placed on the framed portrait and featured in the halls of the hospital for patients and visitors to enjoy.
