Colquitt Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join four other board-certified anesthesiologists with additional support from CRNA’s and AA’s.

  • Salary: Guaranteed salary is competitive and commensurate with experience
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday; Start at 6:30AM and have a rotate off schedule as cases/rooms close; weeknight anesthesia call required. 1-in-8 call rotating on/off schedule; no weekend call required; home call is allowed

Colquitt Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a full-time anesthesiologist/critical care physician to join our team. As a member of the Anesthesia team, we are looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist who has Critical Care experience. This position incudes additional support from Anesthesiologists, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA’s), and Anesthesiologist Assistants (AA’s).

  • Salary: Guaranteed salary is competitive and commensurate with experience
  • Schedule: 26 weeks on/26 weeks off (typically 7 on/7off unless mutually agreed upon by anesthesiology team)
  • Call: Call required during week on; critical care call and back up for anesthesiologists on
  • Opportunity to precept medical students and residents
  • Technology: New anesthesia Mindray machines, including new ultrasounds. Additionally, we have a Glideslope for emergency airways and Belmont for rapid infusers.
  • 7 OR suites; 2 endoscopy suites
  • ICU: 10 bed open unit; consult only; partner with pulmonology and critical care physician for daily rounds

Cases:

  • We do not perform cardiac (heart) or neurosurgery (head) cases. Bread and Butter general anesthesia cases performed (nerve blocks, A-lines, epidurals, etc.).
  • 8-9 starts a day
  • 700 cases a month (~200 of those is endoscopies)
  • OB services (750 deliveries a year)
  • lots of robotic cases; state-of-the-art medical equipment/technology (4 Da Vinci Robots, the mako robot, etc.)

  • Schedule: (15) 12-hr shifts per month; 180 hours per month max; extra shifts available for extra pay; opportunity to work night shift for additional pay

Colquitt Regional Medical Center’s Sterling Group Gastroenterology clinic is currently seeking a full-time gastroenterologist. Practice includes support from an FNP-C and a state-of-the-art facility with two new endoscopy suites.

  • Salary: Guaranteed salary is competitive and commensurate with experience

Colquitt Regional Medical Center’s Georgia South Family Medicine Residency Program is currently seeking a full-time faculty member to join their team!

An ideal candidate will be either an experienced physician or a recent graduate interested in pursuing a non-ACGME accredited academic fellowship, with availability to start in 2025 and a strong desire to work in medical education or academic leadership.

This opportunity is excellent preparation for candidates whose professional goals include teaching family medicine or gaining valuable GME experience needed to pursue a leadership role in a primary care organization.

  • Salary: Guaranteed salary is competitive and commensurate with experience; negotiable depending on GME experience or additional training such as a fellowship.
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday; 8am – 5pm; on average 2 clinic days, 1 precepting day, and dedicated administration time for GME education per week.
  • Call: Some call required (mainly during work hours or scheduled home call after hours to cover residents); no overnight call required unless desire to participate in optional OB or inpatient adult medicine coverage.
  • Duties: to provide direct care to clinic patients and to educate residents through precepting; not required to have faculty experience; must be willing to perform full spectrum family medicine care and be willing to know OB (must have an understanding; not required to perform); additional faculty duties such as enhance educational content and learning experiences by developing and delivering lectures to residents during didactic sessions; collaboration with faculty on program projects, supporting program development and innovation.
  • Clinic Facility: Georgia South Family Medicine Clinic is located on the hospital’s campus inside the new state-of-the-art, 39,000 sq. ft. Ameris Medical Education Center. The clinic consists of 23 exam rooms, 2 procedure rooms, 2 precepting rooms, and a lab.
  • Technology: MSK Ultrasound, handheld ultrasounds, Ellman radio-frequency device, Blu-U light, Dermatoscopes, and NST
  • Patient Volume: an average of 10-12 patients per half day in clinic
  • Procedures: LARC insertion and removal, Pap smears, Joint injections (with and without ultrasound), Skin procedures, Incision and drainage (I&D), Toenail removals, and Sterile vaginal exam/cervical checks
  • Hospital Facilities: physicians’ lounge with meals provided; 24-hour all-access employee fitness center; simulation labs, a skills lab, a computer lab, a conference center, and more!

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
  • Completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency Program by position start date
  • Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFM)
  • Valid Georgia Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
  • Must be in good standing with current employer or residency/fellowship program
  • Must be willing to know OB but are not required to perform it.
  • Must be willing to perform the full family medicine spectrum.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Spanish/English

Other:

  • Open to family medicine trained candidates with additional training/fellowships.
  • Candidates are not required to have faculty experience; they will be trained on the job.
  • Open to new grads who are interested in exploring an academic fellowship.
  • Not accepting visa candidates at this time.
