Volunteer Services

Colquitt Regional Volunteers serve the hospital, affiliate clinics, and organizations. Our volunteers supplement their personnel whenever needed with sensitivity, empathy, good judgment, and professionalism.

The Volunteer program was founded in 1963 and its members serve in many areas across our health system in areas such as guest relations, oncology, gift shop, dialysis, nursing stations, patient access, emergency department, rehabilitation services, and pharmacy.

We are looking for volunteers who share our values and our mission here at Colquitt Regional Medical Center!

Mission

We are committed to providing exceptional healthcare that exceeds expectations.

Vision

Colquitt Regional Medical Center will be recognized as a superior provider of quality and compassionate healthcare.

Values

  • Compassion – We understand what our patients and their loved ones are going through; we will do everything we can to help them.
  • Accountability – We work together to be responsible and honest; integrity is of the highest importance.
  • Respect – We vow to treat each other as we expect to be treated.
  • Excellence – We pursue the highest standard in everything we do; we will continually learn and innovate for the best outcomes.

The Volunteer Experience

Becoming a volunteer is something greater than providing your time and talents to Colquitt Regional. You are a member of a volunteer services organization with the Council of Volunteers of Georgia. Because of the nature of care delivered to patients, volunteers are carefully screened and placed into appropriate assignments.
