Colquitt Regional Medical Center Achieves Top 5% Nationally for Employee Satisfaction

Colquitt Regional Medical Center recently celebrated achieving the 95th percentile in employee engagement among healthcare organizations nationwide. This milestone places the hospital in the top 5% of healthcare facilities in the country, reflecting its commitment to fostering a workplace culture of engagement, resilience, and safety.

The latest employee engagement survey, conducted confidentially by third-party firm Press Ganey, is administered approximately every 18 months. This year’s results mark the highest scores ever achieved by Colquitt Regional, showing a remarkable 0.21 increase over the 2023 scores—an improvement that is nearly unprecedented in the industry.

The engagement survey results demonstrate the hospital’s commitment to building a workplace where employees feel respected and supported. This year, 84 percent of employees stated they would remain with the organization even if offered a similar position elsewhere. Additionally, 92 percent would recommend Colquitt Regional as a good place to work, and 90 percent identified as satisfied employees. Furthermore, 88 percent expressed a desire to continue working at the hospital three years from now.

Colquitt Regional also performed exceptionally in additional key areas. The hospital ranked in the 92nd percentile for safety culture, further displaying its commitment to maintaining a safe environment for employees, physicians, and patients. Safety culture is measured through perceptions of prevention and reporting, teamwork, and the organization’s overall reputation for safety.

Additionally, Colquitt Regional ranked in the 91st percentile for resilience. The Resilience Index measures employees’ ability to stay engaged and recover even in challenging work conditions. The hospital excelled in both Activation, which focuses on meaningful work and patient-centered care, and Decompression, which assesses employees’ ability to maintain work-life balance and avoid burnout.

In addition to strong employee engagement, Colquitt Regional’s patient satisfaction scores continue to increase, reaching a record high during the first quarter of the 2025 fiscal year. The latest results placed the organization above the 90th percentile for hospital rating, with a rank of 94th.
