Most recently, Colquitt Regional received a federal grant for $750,000 to begin a psychiatry residency program.

Colquitt Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a full-time endocrinologist for the establishment of a single-specialty practice. No call required. Salary is at mean of MGMA; plus a bonus of 100% of the practice profits.

Colquitt Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a full-time gastroenterologist. Required call 7 days/month (one week/month) shared with general surgeons and fellow gastroenterologist; extra pay for extra call. Includes support from an FNP-C. Salary is at mean of MGMA; plus a bonus of 100% of the practice profits.

Colquitt Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a full-time outpatient internist. Single specialty practice with additional support from two NPs. Call required 3-4 days/month. Salary is at mean of MGMA; plus a bonus of 100% of the practice profits.

Call is 1-in-3 shared with two fellow radiologists; nights are covered by vRad; extra pay for extra call.

Colquitt Regional Medical Center’s Georgia South Family Medicine Residency Program is currently seeking a full-time, core faculty member to provide direct care to clinic patients, educate residents through precepting and formal teaching, perform advising and curricular duties, participate in program committees, and perform other duties to maintain the program’s mission of providing the highest standard of medical care to a diverse population in a rural community and training dedicated physicians who promote and support the ideals of family medicine.

Guaranteed salary is competitive; negotiable if significant GME experience or special training such as fellowship in Geriatrics or Sports Medicine, or other Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in special areas such as addiction medicine, palliative care, hyperbaric medicine, etc.
Facility details: The new state-of-the-art, 14,000 sq. ft. Ameris Medical Education Center, which includes the Georgia South Family Medicine Clinic, is located on the hospital campus; physicians’ lounge at hospital with meals provided; 24-hour all-access employee gym on hospital grounds

Requirements:

a. Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
b. Current certification by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFM)
c. Valid Georgia State Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
d. Current D.E.A. Certificate
e. No restriction from participation with the Medicaid and/or Medicare programs.
f. Ability to obtain credentials from appropriate health plans, and to be covered by CRMC malpractice liability carrier.

 

Preferred Qualifications:
a. FQHC/CHC experience
b. Prior teaching experience
c. Prior experience working with medically underserved populations.
d. Prior experience working with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR); Specifically, Meditech
e. Bilingual in Spanish/English

Salary: Guaranteed salary is competitive at median of MGMA
Bonus of 100% of practice profits
Clinic schedule: M-F, 8 AM – 5 PM; Call is 1 day/week plus 1 weekend every four weeks. Extra pay for extra call.
